Our Dark Spiced wins an award

With all the positive feedback that our Dark Spiced Rum has received over the last couple of years, we decided to take a punt and enter it into the Great Taste Awards which are organised by the Guild of Fine Foods to see if we would qualify for a little sticker for our bottle.

We are delighted to announce that it has won an award and received some amazing feedback -

“A very cleverly constructed spiced rum, delightfully festive in feel and with a welcome touch of sweetness augmenting the sense of caramel and honey. While the initial palate is a riot of spice, citrus and fruit cake the finish is of characterful honey, with pleasing persistence. Eminently sippable, a festive treat but clearly a great cocktail base too.”

We are incredibly proud of our rums, lots of hard work has gone in to developing each one.  This award has proven to us that we are on the right track, but it also gives us more focus to improve.

We have 4000 stickers on order and I am sure Dad will be delighted hand sticking these on to every bottle with love!
